Welcome to Susan Arden’s member’s page. I bought my first Beagle, Dunnybrae Oyster, in 1984. Katie was mated to Ch. Tragband In Town Tonight and gave birth to seven gorgeous girls in February 1988, two of which were shown successfully. Sadly I lost my girl Pippa from this litter when she was only four. Liz Calikes and David Bradley’s showed Pippa’s sister, Squeak (Madika Talkback to Newlin) who won 1CC and 3RCC’s. I booked a puppy from one of her two Champion daughters - Newlin Upsadaisy who was mated to Ch. Dialynne Tolliver of Tragband and this gave me Molly, Katie’s great grand daughter.
Molly was mated with Ch. Rossgay Rambler and this gave me Miles - Ch.Madika Nut Case.
Miles’ daughter - Milly - was bred by Fiona Quay and has also had a successful show career.
We moved to Yorkshire in March 2008 and although happy and settled I do miss the Scottish Show scene and the many friends I have made over the years. I will, however, be back for the S.B.C. Shows!!
Sadly we no longer have the Degus you can see in my gallery but Lulu and Lola, the funny little rats, certainly keep the hounds amused - especially the latest addition to the Madika family, Emma. My thanks to Barbara and Peter for letting me have such a gorgeous girl.
