Sabinhay Singwell came to us in November 1990 at a time of great change in our lives, having just lost our first beagle and semi-retiring to Austwick in the Yorkshire Dales. Singwell had a wonderful life following in Branston’s footsteps as she explored the Dales. She particularly seemed to enjoy sniffing around the lanes and splashing in the streams.
When we purchased Spoutscroft Cottage it was such a blessing when she gave us a reason to down tools and take her off for a walk in the local Three Peaks area.
Unfortunately on March 29th 2004 time caught up with Singwell after she had been nursed through cancer for 5 years. To the very end of her life she loved the hills and streams and gave us both immeasurable pleasure.
