We were both devastated at losing Singwell - our home seemed so empty. We were fortunate again, when after contacting David, we were invited to Holmfirth to meet Sabinhay Fairmaid.
With a feeling of joy at having a Sabinhay in our lives again, we were so pleased to find that Fairmaid settled into her new home so quickly. Whilst being gentle and unassuming, she is very much a “typical beagle” intent on getting the best out of life.
We don’t go on the marathon walks we used to but Fairmaid is out and about following in Singwell’s footsteps from the Cotswolds to the far North West of Scotland.
I decided to casually show Fairmaid relatively late on and was delighted when she qualified for Crufts 2008. David would have been so proud of his beautiful little girl, as we both are here, and we will always be grateful to him and Sam Goldberg for entrusting her into our care.”
