Leo is a lovely 7 year old boy looking for a new home through no fault of his own.

• Overall - An incredibly affectionate and loving dog, who loves children, people, and playing with other dogs also. Has never shown any sort of aggressive or concerning traits. No health issues and vaccination/boosters are up to date. He loves being active, going for long walks especially at the beach or forest or anywhere with new and interesting scents. Loves to sleep and cuddle on the couch or the bed, and be close to people when relaxing and sleeping.
• On lead - pulls initially due to excitement but settles very quickly and then is very easy and relaxed. He is a strong and athletic dog so would need someone who can meet that demand when walking.
• Off lead - Would caution against unless in an enclosed or dedicated off-lead space. He does always return but he takes his own time to settle his curiosities which can be alarming especially if he is out of sight for a period of time. I do not have him off-lead now for that reason 
• Children - Has been living with two children all his life. Children are now 3 and 6 respectively and he has been part of the family throughout their lives. He is very good with all children also, frequently stopping when children show interest and is more than happy to sit with them, allowing them to pat him and show him affection.
• Strangers - Loves meeting new people, in any setting, and similar to the above - more than happy to give and be given affection. 
• Neutered - yes 
• Barking - Will bark 2-3 times when the doorbell rings or if he is startled e.g. the window washer arrives but settles very quickly especially when told by me to settle down. 
• Being alone - is comfortable being left alone up to four hours (never tried any more than that) - doesn't display any behaviours of being distressed when being left alone (howling, barking) or anything concerning as a result of being alone 
• Kennels / boarding / daycare: Comfortable in all settings and has been commended across all for his social, fun-loving nature, especially with other dogs.
