BIRMINGHAM NATIONAL Championship show was held on Saturday 6th May, the same day as the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla. After judging many exhibitors came together for a well organised bench party to celebrate the occasion.

Mr Jeff Horswell judged the beagles. It was another CC and BOB for the Havard’s Ch Annavah Princess Tiana before going on to win HG4 judged by Mr Andrew Brace. Parker & Stevens’ Ch Serenaker Armani was the RCC winner and David Criag’s Annavah Belinda of Davricard was BPIB and went  on th be placed PG4 judged by Mr Bill Browne-Cole.

At THE SCOTTISH KENNEL CLUB Championship Show on 20th May beagles were judged by Mr Ray Morland awarding CCs for the first time.

Parker & Stevens’ Ch Serenaker Armani was awarded his 17th CC with Fiona Findlay’s Rhiconich Obconica taking the RDCC. The Havard’s Ch Annavah Princess Tiana was the BCC and Best of Breed winner with her full younger sister, David Craig’s Annavah Belinda of Davricard taking the RBCC and BPIB.

Beagles did well in the groups and stakes with Ch Dialynne Peter Piper HVG3 and Kellitcreed Frozen Assets HSBG4. Gempeni Cornflower took another 2nd place in the KCGC Stakes.

The STAR of the show was Annavah Belinda of Davricard who not only won the Puppy Stakes and HPG1 on hound day but came back the following day to not only win the Puppy Stakes overall judged by Mr T Allcock but also BEST PUPPY IN SHOW judged by Ms G Marley.

Congratulations to Madika Spot On JW ShCM AW(P) who gained the final points for her Veteran Warrant (subject to KC confirmation).

Dottie is owned by Susan Arden and her final points were obtained at Great Harwood Agricultural Show on 29th May where she was Best Hound Veteran.
