It was a clean sweep for Samantha Goldberg at WEST MERCIA BEAGLE CLUB open show on 5th March, judged by Rowan Ford. BB & Best In Show was Molesend Dormouse JW, RBB & RBIS Molesend Crumble and BD & BPIS Rossut Villein at Molesend. It was another BVIS for Sam McBain’s Redcap Bella Sorella JW ShCM VW.

CRUFTS is over for another year. There was an excellent entry of 87 dogs/105 entries and 137 bitches/158 entries for judge David Craig.

Congratulations to three SBC members south of the border who took top awards -

Lynda and Pam Havard’s Ch Annavah Princess Tiana took BCC, BOB and went on to win HG4 judged by Mike Caple. Serena Parker and Graham Stevens took the DCC with Ch Serenaker Armani and Samantha and Martin Goldberg’s Molesend Dormouse JW was the winner of the RBCC.

FOUR COUNTIES BEAGLE CLUB held their open show on Sunday 19th March, judged by Jackie Fraser. Scottish exhibitor Fiona Findlay made the 8 and a half hours/ 500 miles round trip from Forfar to Bowburn and back and had another successful show with Rhiconich Obconica who was RBD. Claire Jones’ Ch Newlin Preston to Clairdale JW was Jackie’s choice for Best Dog. Sam Goldberg’s Molesend Dormouse JW added another Best In Show to her list of acclomplishments. David Craig’s puppies had a successful outing, 6 month old Davricard Gaultier was BPD and 9 month old Annavah Belinda of Davricard was RBB and BPIS. The Havard’s Ch Annavah Felix was BVIS.

THE BEAGLE CLUB held their open show on Saturday 26th March, judged by Sharon Hardisty. SBC members beagles in the top awards were Parker & Stevens’ Serenaker Saltydog who was RBD and BPD and the same owners’ Serenaker Agatha Raisin who was BB and RBIS. BPIS was the Havard’s Dufosee Julianna avec Annavah.

Congratulations to Franjean Check Me Out at Fairleedale and her delighted owner Christine Hartland who can now add VW to the end of Rosey’s name. Rosey gained the final points for her Veteran Warrant (subject to KC confirmation) in style by winning Best Hound Veteran at Consett CS on 26th March.
