BOSTON is the first Championship show of 2023, held at Peterborough for the last time. Hounds were judged on Sat 7th January.The judge of beagles (without CCs) was Samantha McBain who had an excellent entry of 38.

Best of Breed went to the Havards’ Ch Annavah Princess Tiana who went on to win HG3 judged by Tom H Johnston. The partnership of Serena Parker and Graham Stevens took Best Dog with Ch Serenaker Armani and RBB with Ch Serenaker Maid In America. RBD went to Ch Newlin Preston to Clairdale JW owned by Claire Jones and Best Puppy went to David Craig’s Annavah Belinda of Davricard.

An amazing result for Serena Parker and Graham Stevens at their local open show, Heywood & Radcliffe, on 9th January. This is definitely their lucky show!

For the second consecutive year Ch Serenaker Armani took the top award of Best In Show!

Breed and hound group judge was Helen Kerfoot and BIS was judged by Andrew Brace.

MANCHESTER CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW on 19th January was the first of the year with CCs on offer for beagles, judged by Mr Frank Borg from Malta.

Only one SBC member was in the top awards and that was Lynda and Pam Havard whose Ch Annavah Princess Tiana won the BCC. The same owners’ minor puppy Annavah Nickleby was BPIB followed by HPG4 judged by Mr Jeff Horswell.
